Outstaffing and leasing of employees
Instead of registering an employee, you can hire him. Leasing of employees is becoming popular in Poland. Ukrainians increasingly choose employers who want to use this form of employment. But leasing is also a proven solution for sick leave.
Employee leasing is a very popular form of employment in the West. Outstaffing is only gaining popularity in Poland . Simply put, it's like "borrowing an employee." The legal basis of leasing is Article 1741 of the Labor Code. Accordingly, with the consent of the employee, expressed in writing, the employer may grant the employee unpaid leave to work for another employer for the period specified in the agreement between the employers on this matter. The period of unpaid leave is included in the period of work, which determines the employee's rights with the current employer. Individual specialists and experts are provided, and entire teams are delegated for specific tasks.
Employee leasing and temporary work
A recruitment company is usually a licensed employment agency. In practice, it is enough to inform the company about the requirement for an employee with specific skills, and within a few hours you will be provided with a candidate. Therefore, leasing is often compared with temporary work. However, these forms of employment are not the same.
Leasing an employee differs from temporary work in that the employer becomes the target company in his case, and not a temporary employment agency. Thanks to this, when renting employees, clients acquire a qualified, proven employee with extensive work experience, who, as a result of the agreement between the parties, undertakes to perform specific duties during a certain period.
There are no unnecessary formalities
What does employee leasing look like in practice? The company whose services are used handles all legal, formal and organizational aspects. It is a company that recruits employees by choosing the people who are the best fit for the job. After the hiring process, the agency sends the employee to the location designated by the tenant. On the part of the agency, it is also important to ensure that the employees have the relevant documents, and in the case of employees from Ukraine, this permission to work in Poland.
Convenience, but also costs
How much does staff outstaffing cost in Poland ? Costs vary by agency, city, and employee qualifications. They vary from 40 to 500 zlotys per hour. In particular, hiring a cleaner is 20-25 zlotys per hour, maids - about 40 zlotys, and hiring a qualified specialist - up to 500 zlotys.
Due to the need to pay a margin, leasing an employee is often more expensive than hiring an employee yourself. But when it comes to staffing, it's not about the money. For companies, this saves time and helps in emergency situations, such as the absence of many employees due to illness, the need to find a specialist with specific skills.
It's also a lot less formality. Such an employee does not remain on a permanent basis, so there is no problem with paying any costs for notice of resignation or severance pay. The danger may lie in the access of such an employee to confidential company data. Many employers can adequately protect themselves against such situations, and the advantages of leasing outweigh the disadvantages of this form of employment.
